Description
HOTOOLME and QANVEE sell the two most-rated scrapers we found on Amazon whose listings name a razor blade for glass tanks. Both have a long handle and a stainless steel blade, and as the reference works we searched do not cover the tool, what follows is what the two sellers state. HOTOOLME's handle extends to 65 cm (25.6 inches) with its two extension rods, and the cutter head is 4.3 cm (1.7 inches) wide. Ten spare blades come in the kit, and the blade can be removed and replaced. The seller says the right-angle blade helps clean the corners of the tank, and that with the blade taken off, the tool can be used as a sand leveler. Its care note is to rinse the scraper and let it air dry, or wipe it with a towel, after use to avoid rust or corrosion, and it warns that the blade is sharp and should be kept away from children. QANVEE lists its aquarium algae scraper with a 26 inch metal handle that can be set to 15, 20 or 26 inches (about 38, 51 or 66 cm). The handle is aluminum magnesium alloy and the head is ABS plastic, and the razor blade is 2.5 inches (64 mm) wide. The package holds ten stainless steel blades, a protection cover for the blades, a brush, three extension rods and an Allen wrench. With the cover on, the seller says, the scraper can double as a gravel spatula.
