A second listing puts the purpose in one line, protect your pets from heater burns, and says its heat-proof plastic creates a secure barrier preventing direct contact with hot surfaces for fish, turtles, and frogs. Both are built in sections. Fdit's modular sections make the guard easier to adjust to the length you need, and its #3 size is approx. 36.5cm long and 3.1cm wide. The second seller sells sizes #0 through #4, from 18.5cm to 42.5cm, made by snapping together individual 3.5cm linking tubes, and tells buyers to measure heater length first. Both mount with suction cups. They are made for round heaters, and the listings say so: the Fdit case fits many round aquarium heaters, and the other is designed for all round aquarium heaters. The second seller claims it works without restricting water circulation.
